Peanut Granules are a brilliant mini particle that is almost guaranteed to have carp queuing up for a bite to eat in your swim.

I (Ken Townley) rate tiny seeds and particles bait very highly, for the simple reason that a carpet of tiny particles of food creates preoccupation, which in turn can lead to aggressive feeding. When they are competing for every little bit of bait, they throw caution to the wind and become so much easier to catch. Tiny seeds such as hemp seed, groats and dari are well known by the majority of carpers, but one bait that seems to fly under the radar much of the time is the amazing peanut granule.

This is a brilliant mini particle that is almost guaranteed to have carp queuing up for a bite to eat in your swim. They are sourced from screened peanuts and are super-cleaned to give pure, 100% goodness. The granules are extracted from the heart of the peanut to give a high-fat, high-energy food that carp cannot resist. A little goes a long way, but preoccupation is guaranteed – that’s why we add Peanut Granules to our SuperRed Groundbait, to give it added pulling power and that all-important 'crunch' factor. Try mixing them with crushed hemp seed in a ratio of 50:50.

Peanut granules and crushed hempseed need no boiling and can be used with just a simple 24-hour soak. This makes them ideal baits for use on long sessions where access to cooking gear may be limited. Both peanuts granules and crushed hempseed can be fished on their own or as part of a blend, and by adding them to Red Factor or Nectarblend the tiny particles can be rolled into groundbaits balls that can be fished at range using a caty or a groundbait pouch. Once on the lakebed the balls will break down quickly releasing their attraction, which will spread across the bottom and draw fish in from far and wide.
