Highly nutritious and adored by all insect-eating wildlife.

Larvae of the wax moth, Waxworms are fed delicious nutrients such as honey and wheat germ. Highly nutritious with soft skins, Waxworms can provide a very important source of nutritious food - especially for fledgelings. Can be stored at room temperature; however, we find they last longer stored in a cool garage or even in the fridge!

Mealworms are delivered (by Royal Mail) separately from seed orders, to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. They are delivered free of charge (no extra delivery charges) and therefore are not available on the next day delivery service. If you're worried about feeding live mealworms, why not try dried mealworms? Please note we only dispatch Live Foods to UK Mainland and do not dispatch to Countries outside the UK. Please Note: As all live foods are delivered by Royal Mail, we are unable to accept delivery instructions (i.e. if out please leave in shed etc).

Please note:

Live mealworms are excluded from click & collect as they come direct from the UK supplier.

Mealworms are delivered by Royal Mail separately from seed orders to ensure they arrive in a healthy condition. We only despatch Live Foods to UK Mainland addresses. As all live foods are delivered by Royal Mail, we are unable to accept delivery instructions (i.e. if out please leave in the shed etc).

The garden birds will thank you for feeding healthy, protein-rich live food by coming back to your garden bird feeders for more.

"Blackbirds & Robins go absolutely crazy for the live waxworms, & the Robins usually win the race! They will see off any other bird they think are daring to steal THEIR waxworms no matter how big!! The waxworms seem to last longer than the Mealworms, although I always buy both & use the Mealworms first"

Tame Your Birds With These

"If I'm sitting on my garden bench, the robin will come and sing at me pointedly until I produce the goods, and I have recently tamed a great tit to come and feed from my hand using this succulent bait!"

'Hello Anne,We greatly appreciate the feedback, it's really intriguing how you have tamed a great tit to feed form your hand.Best wishes,Haith's'

Popular Restaurant Open All Hours With Gourmet Menu

"Since wax worms were added to the menu I have a regular customer. Late February after dark she would tap on the window demanding service for her and her youngster. Early morning she will interrupt my breakfast to the point of entering the house and sitting at my table until she is served by hand. Now when collecting a takeaway she has to run the gauntlet of a couple of Blackbird muggers. Nobody robs a Robin."

'Hello,Thank you for your comments. We greatly appreciate the feedback, it's great to hear about your story and your 'regular customer'.All the best,Haith's'
